I'm very interested in Xindice, and have started playing with a ColdFusion
interface to the database. Xindice looks like a perfect solution to the
scalability problem of storing and querying many XML documents on your file
system, but it's not an alternative to standard relational databases in most
cases.

If anyone else has started on a ColdFusion interface for Xindice, or has any
ideas on how best to implement one, speak up!

Matt's article is at

I've invited him to join this list, so he may be able to help with any
queries on Xindice and other native XML databases.
