Hi,

to test a gcc development branch on a BSD machine (for now, any of the
variants would do), what would be the best machine to run a full gcc
bootstrap on?

Define best.

Such as "works without a problem and is reasonably fast".

gcc303 should work fine.

It's a two-processore machine, so "reasonably fast" is probably
not given.

As to "works without a problem", seems like download_prerequisites
does have its intended effect on FreeBSD, which is now PR 97302.

So much for just giving a development branch a spin on a non-Linux
operating system...

Does anybody actually bootstrap gcc on this machine, and what
configure options are used?

Best regards
