As long as the current situation and the warm weather persist, you could turn
them on at most for a period (at night in your local time?) both for your own
personal coolness and not to burn extra energy in air conditioning. I can't see
anything being so urgent as to require 24-hour access and if people who do need
them know when they'll be on and off they can plan better.

Another idea: Don't run them all at the same time, set up a schedule instead.

That would require some sort of automatic power-up machinery of course, which
may not be easy to do with exotic hardware. However... cfarm420..430 seem to be
VMs on two big boxes? Would it help heat emission to just shut down part of the
VMs on a schedule?

In any case: Thanks for your efforts. Hopefully it really was just the HBA that
melted down.
