Jeremy, if I may interject, if you (or anyone else) ends up needing to call 
.NET web services and have such trouble as
you describe, please remember BlueDragon.NET. As an implementation of CFML 
running natively on .NET (similar in concept
to how CFMX and Java editions of BlueDragon run natively on Java), it enables 
you to skip web services and just call the
.NET objects directly (using CFOBJECT). More info in our documentation on the 
web site (URL in my signature). Hope
that's seen as helpful, and not a "sales pitch". We're just here to solve 
problems.
