Does anyone know of a way to auto truncate a column in a csv file of say length char(50), into a table column that is char(40) in a SQL Server database?
BULK INSERT targetTable FROM 'c;\temp\target.csv' WITH (fieldterminator = ',') Is it possible? Yes, already suggested that the give it to me correctly in the csv......
