Yes, that's what they're thinking of doing. The challenge was handling the people from the past. If they've not opted in to being contacted (which Adobe does ask), then Adobe is hard-pressed to contact them to ask that permission. This is what they alluded to in the call. And while doing it "for future" certs is part of the solution, and it seems they may, they do realize that not having those from the past will still challenge folks like those discussing it here.
