I am about to start a project that requires a spider, now I notice that vspider is part of cfmx7 but I would need to use cfexceute which in a hosting (shared) has been sandboxed. Now I can get around this, but then one of the java guys here mentioned jspider.
So I am asking you guys have you had anything to do with either, or have you got another open source or alternative solution to crawling a website?
