I often seem to get this from a number of Microsoft blogs (IE, Vista, Home Server, etc) but it doesn't happen with any others that I can think of... I never worked out exactly why though, it's only happened a few times so it hasn't bothered me that much - I just right clicked on the folder and chose "Mark All as Read" and kept working :)
