I am trying to implement the IM gateway found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/cfmximgateways/ and it just doesn't seem to want to go. Firstly it says to load the class into {cfroot}/WEB-INF/cfusion/lib which doesn't exist. If I create the folder and restart the server, it starts but I cant do anything. not even the cfadmin will load up. So I loaded the required JAR files into the {cfroot}/WEB-INF/lib folder. Server starts but when I add the Gateway Type I get the following message:-
Error creating gateway type.
Unable to find or load Gateway class com.oosterwijk.cfmx.MsnJmlgateway
The instructions state:-
Type Name: MSN JML
Description: MSN Instant Messenger Gateway
Java Class: com.oosterwijk.cfmx.MsnJmlgateway
Startup Timeout: 30
IMPORTANT: If you are using the 1.4 version of the JVM you will need to add
the following parameter to your JVM config:
-Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=javax.net.ssl
My JVM Arguments now read:-
-server -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false -XX:MaxPermSize=128m
-Dcoldfusion.rootDir={application.home}/../
-Dcoldfusion.libPath={application.home}/../lib
-Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=javax.net.ssl
Has anyone else played with this stuff? Any suggestions or things to try?
Or maybe an easier way to do the whole IM thing?
