Fat chance of that happening. I am more interested in what the lite version
does and how i can use it. I mean if there is no point using it why bother
shipping it. There must be something i can use it for, even if its
pre-populating forms for clients, even though i could just use cfpdf or
cfdocument to just push HTML to a pdf.

When you say "They have it stiched up..". Who is "They"? and what is it that
they "stitched up" ?

I am by no means looking to make my millions, just be able to utilise the
technology if i can

You can learn about LifeCycle by all means, Steve, but dont expect it to
turn into a business opportunity. They have it stitched up in Australia to
two companies and any work you do will have to go through them. They wont
allow any new entrants into the lifecycle product.

I've got knowledge of that product going back 20 years through it's
beginnings and the electronic forms industry on a wider basis, and I see
lots of business opportunities. but the only way they'd even discuss it is
if i put all my business through these two companies who have it all locked
up.

I think it would be worthwhile for potential customers to learn about
LiveCycle but anyone expecting to turn business opportunities out of it will
have to expect to turn their clients over to their competitors.

I noticed during the install of CF8 there is a "Lite" version of LifeCycle.
A couple of question on that....

a ) It says that it can only be run on a single processor machine. Does
that mean that you cant run it at all on a dual processor machine or will it
install and function but only use one of the processors.
b ) Where can i find further documentation about the functionality of the
"Lite" version
c ) Does any one know of someone who knows enough about lifecycle to come to
cfug to do a presentation in Melbourne?
