Just some quick thoughts regarding MAX overall: All the worries about the future of CF after Adobe's takeover can be safely put to bed. I came away with the feeling that CF is now stronger than ever and the future is bright. Adobe seems to be focused on making all their technologies work together, ie. CF to create PDF/ Flex/Flash, PDFs to include Flash, and perhaps the coolest thing I saw, Flash to incorporating C/C++ code & libraries. They demoed Unreal Tournament running in a SWF with a bunch of Flash controls over the top that displayed your score, etc. They seemed to be really pushing using CF,Flash and Flex to create AIR apps.
Oh, and a little OT side-note, I was sitting with a bunch of Microsoft guys during lunch one day and the topic of Scott Barnes came up. Didn't seem to like him very much. Overall, the future is looking bright guys.
