I believe they will have it opened up very shortly, this has got to be one of the worst things they kept away from us. I had someone not on SP1 try it and it worked. So I think it's Vista SP1 related, no references to it anywhere, if CF had a bug tracker DB I would be able to check if they even know about it. I asked because there are 2 known problems. I am not sure if you have UAC on/off, but you need to make sure Coldfusion is run as administrator when installing. I came across this problem a few weeks ago, if Coldfusion is not installed in this manner and I did discuss it in here, it will not error and will install ok but will not install the connectors at all.
