I ended up using Paragon What I was trying to do was make a VM virtual disk bigger and I though I could just expand it be adding another virtual disk but no go. I did some hunting and found that VMServer does have a tool for increasing the size of virtual disks but it is command line only (you would have thought they would have built it into the console.....) so I did that and then use Paragon Partition Manager to extend the partition into the unallocated space. All good now:) Steve

Paragon Partition Magic or Powerquest Partition Magic (now Symantec) I know the last time I used Symantec (powerquest), it won't even run on Vista something to do with the NTFS file system being different. But the paragon one ran without a problem, maybe this is the same with Windows 2003 server. At a guess. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Steve Onnis Sent: Friday, 27 June 2008 4:33 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [cfaussie] Partition Software Can anyone recommend some software to modify partitions on a windows "Server" machine? From what I can see, and I have tried to install it, Partition Magic does not support server OS.
