I am, on a few sites. You want to use a Dreamweaver template to structure your pages. If you're not using Dreamweaver that's a bit of a pain, but if you are it's pretty straightforward. You make editable areas in your template in DW, then build your pages off the DW template (which is a process that runs within DW, it doesn't use dynamic code which can confuse people to start with). You also need to use DW's built-in check-in and check-out to keep the revisions up to date. The trick with Contribute is that although you can use cfincludes and they are protected, each individual page needs to have all HTML structure tags in place (head, body etc) and your css files need to be in each document too, NOT in an include. The idea is that you use DW to manage any updates to those parts of the page. Essentially if you're happy to run things "The DW and Contribute way" it'll all good and happy (and Contribute can be a really nice way for clients to manage content).
