I am banging my head against the wall with this one. I have a CFEXECUTE process and it does not seem to complete until the request for the page has completed. Basically I have a command line tool for getting website screen captures and I am running the processes fine but I need to wait until it has finished (for some reason its not waiting till the exe file has finished before it continues) because there is a delay between when it finishes and when it writes the image to the file system.
I have a loop that basically continually checks to see if the file is there or not and if it isn't it keeps looping until it finds the file or it breaks out of the loop after a certain amount of time. I have managed to get around it a little but using cfthread and sleeping the thread but I still don't know if the file is there or not. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing happening?
