Hey Stephen, the issue is that hotfixes (and CHFs) don't change the "update
version" (on the CF Admin system settings page). You can see them (the
individual hotfix jars) listed instead in the "java class path" field on the
same Admin page. 

This is clarified in a CF8 technote (http://www.adobe.com/go/kb403823) and
though I find no CF7 technote communicating the same thing, I imagine it
applies. Let us know if that helps.

(The hotfix process, while it's gotten better over the years, is still
pretty poor in my opinion.)

The hotfix hasn't worked.  How do I know if it has been applied
correctly?
The version is still reading as 7.02.142559 which is the same as it
was before I applied the fix.  Should that change?
