Pamela Fox, of Google Australia, will give us a hands-on in depth look at Google Wave and will hopefully she'll be able to answer the eternal question: What is it exactly and what is it good for? This is a hands-on BYO Laptop workshop session. The Google meeting room that we'll using should have adequate wi-fi connectivity. Prerequisites: If you don't already have one, get a Google Wave account from http://code.google.com/apis/wave/sandboxform.html. Also the Python SDK from http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/python/gettingstarted/devenvironment.html. (Note: Mac OS X Leopard already has Python 2.5 installed). NOTE: change of venue as normal venue is unavailable on the night. Also switched the day back to our normal date as we have access to Google's meeting rooms.
