If you're out there thinking that you don't need a framework and that frameworks make things too hard then consider this.
I am an ANTI framework person, generally when presented with frameworks I'm looking for how they make things easier and not complicate things. I really enjoyed the WebDU talk by Andrew and this one from Phil should be very good. FW/1 is a bit different and defiantly worth a look even if you're not a framework person id encourage you to come along. It's also at our new offices which has a lot larger board room, so we can fit in lots of people.
