Why though? Isn't it more of a "standard of coding" rather than a "coding standard"? I could publish a "coding standard" document but that doesn’t mean that everyone should follow it. It would just be a document showing how I prefer to write code.
If a coding standard for writing ColdFusion should be developed it should be developed by Adobe, maintained distributed by them also.
