The group's current name included the word Platform because Adobe was promoting, at the time, the Flash Platform. To help move the group forward, we need to change group's name to reflect the groups new direction.
The current thinking is the group would still be developer focused and that we should strive to include designers as a lot the tools Adobe is developing include scripting capabilities.
