Presenter: Richard Turner-Jones of Adobe.

Generator is a JavaScript/NodeJS-based extensibility technology which first
shipped in Adobe Photoshop CC v14.1 is designed to improve workflows for
web designers, screen designers, and anyone who needs to extract image
assets out of a Photoshop document. You can generate JPEG, PNG, or GIF
image assets from the contents of a layer or layer group in a PSD file.

Key Features:

• Assets are automatically generated when you append a supported image
format extension to a layer name or a layer group name. Optionally, you can
also specify quality and size parameters for the generated image assets.

• Generating image assets from a PSD file is particularly useful for
multi-device web design.

• Generator is based on the popular Node.js platform and plug-ins can be
written in JavaScript.Generator plug-ins give you deep access to your
Photoshop documents, including bitmap representations, layer bounds, and
much more.

This session will give an overview of Generator, the Image Asset Generation
plugin, including syntax, and building a simple plugin.

Also, we'll giving away a one year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud to
one lucky attendee.

Please RSVP at http://meetu.ps/2CDcZj

We'll strive to finish by 7:30 to retire to the Lord Nelson for food and
drinks.
