Took a look at the mdxu site today (bloody hell that conference is
expensive! $700 each!!!!!  I guess they don't want any small businesses
to send anyone)  and it demanded no less than 6 times that I restart my
computer. 

I decided it was being impertinent and told it to get knotted but it
didn't reply. 

Did anyone else get this?  Anyone else told they had to restart t heir
computer in order for the changes to have any effect?   What the hell is
IN that site?

Marc Dimmick is coordinating a National Macromedia User Meeting on the 
night before MXDU.   I believe it will be open to everyone, ie. you 
don't have to have an MXDU ticket to attend.  Not sure what the focus 
will be... but certainly several speakers will be available to deliver 
the odd spiel on whatever.
