Jeremy,

I highly recommend the following book:

Book: SQL Server 2000 Stored Procedure Programming
ISBN: 0-07-212566-7
Authors: Dejan Sundric & Tom Woodhead
Cost Approx. $83.95 (18 months ago)

Topics: Triggers, stored procs, functions and UDF's, extended stored
procs (dll's), adv. Stored procs, encryption, xml, debuging, error
handling etc.... etc...

There is also a good assests database used for all the examples. You get the
full picture with real world examples. I have 7 or 8 SQL 2000 books, but
that's the best one on the shelf.

Hope that helps,

John
