Dean,
I've had no problems. I put the cf tag next to a form field, in
your case this is called 'completion_date'. I set the value of the form
field to now() formatted correctly. You can then click on the image created
by the tag and it should display a small popup box with a calendar. The
current date should be selected.

The tag is embedded in a page and when that page is viewed you
don't see any reference to the javascript when you click the image that
says "select completion date"
Hope that makes sense

Dean,
Is the page it creates blank or the page that the cf_cal
function is in blank.

Thanks Brian, but when trying to run it, the screen is blank :)

<cf_cal formname="addtask"
target="completion_date"
date="Now()"

Thanks

Dean,
I use cf_cal. Its basically JavaScript. It pops up a nice
window and allows you to select a date. The selected date is then
transferred to a form field.

Subject: [cfaussie] Calendar type function
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me of a tag/function where instead of a user
manually entering a date on a form they are given a small "calendar"
type of facility to simply click on the required date?
Thanks
