Hi,
To do
READ in MX you do not require a LOCK (though sometimes under special
circumstances you you need to LOCK when you READ)
You
need to LOCK ALWAYS WHEN SETTING/WRITING.
Automatic Read Locking creates a slight over head on
the server and it was i think only avaliable in 4.5 and 5 from the top of my
head...
