Hey guys
Just in the process of migrating my
CMS app to use CFCs. All going OK, but am curious to know this. How
do you access the CFC from a directory that is either above the web root, or not
even within the webroot. I am wanting to do the same thing as you would do
when you set up a CF Mapping so that a path is directed to files not in the
webroot.
I am wanting to protect my CFC files
from the webroot, but all the examples I have seen say that the CFC files need
to be in the same directory structure of the application. Is this
true? It seems that even using dot notation, the paths need to be relative
to the application root, or from where the CFC is being invoked
from.
Can you use CF Mappings to in the
paths for invoking your CFCs?
Any assistance would be
great
