I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts and opinions on unsing CFFILE vs CFHTTP to read a file and insert the content into a database. Is one or other more reliable, flexible in handling the content.
Currently I use a CFHTTP call to read and loop over the content of a text file to insert it into the database. With CFMX I have had a few problems with the way this works, and since I have not used CFFILE before to perform this action, I want to know the communities thoughts on the differences.
