Well, I'm usually pretty quiet on CFAussie but I do read the list (only
usually too late to provide useful input), but... I live in Sydney which
means that I know a few drinking establishments and I wouldn't be against a
CFAussie pub crawl. Anyone wishes to come along? I would personally prefer
to pubs to clubs, especially pubs around the Rocks, with nice beers in pint
glasses...

Aight...

So I wasn't going to be at MXDU, but I've succesfully beaten the boss into
paying for the trip ;> (Insert cheering here) so I will be showing up.
Whats
on the social agenda Wednesday night... Given that I had to 'convince'
(*whistles and hides the bloody pick handle*) the boss to send me down, and
even that took drastic measures (*kicks the electroshock paddles under the
desk*) I'm only going to be down from wednesday morning to thursday night,
and I wouldn't put it past him to try and fly me back as quickly as
possible
thursday to put me back in the salt mines.

So Wednesday night is the only night I've got availible. And well, the
dominatrix I used to room with, and a friend who's gone all bloody born
again and doesnt drink anymore (*faints*) are the only people I know in
Sydney. I probably need to squeeze in a quick shopping trip to Oxford
street... (What? Have you EVER tried to buy decent leather goods in
Brisbane? Trust me on this.) but that still leaves a whole lot of time to
raid the minibar... God its the boss paying, he'll probably invoice me for
it, stingy bugger. So aynway, its going to be boring.

So What have you social butterflies got planned? I'm sure with a crowd like
this it'll be a night of drinking and wenching with enough glitter to put
the mardigra to shame (wait for it... wait... I can keep a straight face,
honest I can ;>) so I wouldn't miss it...

Besides... The boss is paying for the trip, so I need to try and network
myself into a new job somewhere.

Ermm.. So whats goin on wednesday night party people?
