Hi Jamie,
We have had numerous problems with Scheduled Tasks on linux.
Eventually I decided to remove CF Admin from the equation, and opted to run the .cfm scripts within lynx via a cron job. Works a treat!
So, if all else fails, consider a cron job.
Thanks,
Sarah.

Subject: [cfaussie] schedule task problem
Hi,
I have a scheduled task that for some reason has stopped working. The
website has been moved to a Unix server and ColdFusion is running on the
Windows 2000 Server, these are linked via Services For Unix. The drives are
mapped and everything works fine, it is just the scheduled task in the
ColdFusion admin that is the problem. If I run the page from a browser the
output is there all nice and fine, where as I run the page from the
ColdFusion Admin I get the error messages telling me to check my settings
bla bla bla...
I have tried changing the permissions to the file that the scheduled task is
going to write to, but still no luck.
Hope someone can help.
