<cfflush> should do the trick. However there are some issues that would apply equally to ASP & CF. Bascially they come from the fact that when you do a flush the http headers get sent to the client and so no more operations involving the header can be performed.
For example: - cflocation - cookie vars & cfcookie - cfheader - cfhtmlhead - cfform - cfcontent are all going to fail after a cfflush.
