Try validating a CFM/XHTML page that uses a CFFORM. The workaround there is to save the source code, fix it and hard code the script and form tags back in. A very ugly solution! Now I know that only the really anal (like me and my fellow developers) are concerned about being able to validate every page on a website using the W3C validators (*HTML and CSS) but there is a growing need for these issues to be brought to the surface, especially in Government websites where accessibility across multiple device types is a mandate. The browser manufacturers are now close to getting it right so it's about time the developers did too.
