I just read a terrific article by Charles Arehart about filters http://www.systemanage.com/presentations/Augmenting_Application.cfm_with_Filters.pdf
and the bit that really caught my attention was the bit about compression filters, which allow your cfserver to compress the output of the processed cfm pages before sending it down the pipe, making it really small for extra speed of download.

Unfortunately tho, it is relevant to cfmx only.

I was wondering if any of you guys had had any experience with this kind of thing in regard to cf5?
