Heya folks, Anyone got a handy reference lying around for how to use CASE statements in SQL?
I'm trying to do something clever via SQL (i.e. only update a certain field if it is not a certain value) and I'm thinking case may be the way to go. Also interested in other logical operators within SQL as well - such as Decode. (Oracle DB here) If anyone has anything useful in terms of reference, I would greatly appreciate it, as I can't seem to find a thing!
