Ok further to previous issue we went and built a brand new server using
latest netscape webserver and CFMX (as opposed to CF4.5). We have put this
inside the network and it works fine, can connect to sql server all hunky
dory. As soon as they change hostname and ip address and put in dmz (on
other side of firewall) we start getting the following error message:

"Error","jrpp-20","02/26/03","14:33:59","Internet","Operation failed on the
data
source named ""Internet_Registry"".Reason of failure ""SQLException
occurred in
JDBCPool while attempting to connect, please check your username, password,
URL
, and other connectivity info."" The specific sequence of files included or
proc
essed is: /mnt/usr/netscape/server4/webroot2/index.cfm "

Now am I crazy or does this scream a connectivity problem??? Maybe something
network or firewall related. Sys-admins refuse to believe it is network or
firewall related. Trying to tell me coldfusion must be bound to an ip. Also
coldfusion pages that don't connect to sql can execute fine.

Any suggestions?
