No. Multiple users accessing your site from behind a NAT firewall share the same IP address. Or User A disconnects and his address is allocated to the next user B. Your app thinks its the same user. Could get ugly.

Probably not, but even if it happens, it's not as bad as the previous situation. Worst case, the user thinks he's lost a session (redirected to login page maybe).
