Yep just changed it - that option was greyed out(not chosen) so I ticked and
selected my DB on that SQLServer.

Should I restart now perhaps???

Are you switching databases. In the ODBC control panel when you connect to
an SQL server you also choice the database. The default of the master
database. Have you changed this.

But it's not an Access DB??? My user DSN on this machine has verified AOK
using SQLServer driver and pointing to this remote machine.

Then my datasource in CFMX using ODBC Socket verify's ok also????

Next step??

Hopefully a quick one you can answer before I start looking around
elsewhere:

I've got a new laptop and have setup my datasource in MX to point at our web
server which the db sits on (SQLServer2000)

SQLServer has been setup to give me machine access rights to this db and
tables

I develop locally on my laptop using the "live" data rather than replicate
on this machine yadda yadda I get this error:

Error Executing Database Query.
[MERANT][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft
Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table
or query 'TABLESTORY'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled
correctly.

This table does exist and is spelt correctly.

Any ideas, clues???

matt
