I found a solution to it.
I use ldapsearch.exe - command line utility found in CFUSION/BIN
directory.
This program returns binary fields in MIME64 format instead of raw
binary code.

Mark,

This is a real UBER question - and a good one at that. You might want
to
ask the experts at [EMAIL PROTECTED] (www.houseoffusion.com)
for
this one.

Good Luck!

Subject: [cfaussie] LDAP question

Hi,

LDAP returns networkAddress as 192.168.0.1 as 4-byte binary.
ColdFusion
5.0 (Win) reads first 2 bytes and stops at 0 - obviously a C++ string
ending with /0. It even return the length of the string as 2. Is
there
any way to force it to read the whole thing?
