The demo and farcry.opensource sites are just brand new and we haven't really given them a good shake-out.

The first thoughts that springs to mind are 'Sweeet!' and simmilar such expressions of enthusiasm... along with ... Bugger ;> 6 days untill source code release...
But I think your link to the mailing list is broken ;> It refers to http://localhost/objectid=etc when I browse to it ;> - you can work around by copy pasting the object id.. but the lists are still marked as private anyway ;>
but sweeeeeeeeeeet is the overriding comment atm. From what I've seen of far cry, truly awesome app... I'm slavering at the chance to get my gubby mitts on the source and see how it works.
Very cool.

Folks,
We've had our heads down beavering away on a top secret project the last few months... for those who are remotely interested -- we are releasing our FarCry Content Management platform as open source.
The source code is still under wraps -- we're polishing up a few bits and bobs -- but you can have a sneak peak at the community site: http://farcry.daemon.com.au/
Or even have a play with the application itself, log in, add a bit of content, etc on our demo application at: http://demo.daemon.com.au/
All the best,
