I am having some
trouble adding a new ODBC socket within the CF admin on MX.
Basically if I try
to add a new DSN and then select an existing ODBC datasource created within
admin panel I keep getting the following error.
Connection verification failed for data source:
mydatasource
[]java.sql.SQLException: SQLException while attempting to connect: java.sql.SQLException: [MERANT][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: SQLException while attempting to connect: java.sql.SQLException: [MERANT][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.

Now, here is the odd
part. If I take an existing ODBC socket that works and change its ODBC
database/source it all works fine, but if I try to change the datasource name of
a working existing one I get the above message again.
This all started
after I installed service pack 3, before that I was able to add all datasource
types with no trouble at all.
Any suggestions?
Currently I am hijacking existing ODBC socket datasource names to develop a
couple of sites and I will run out eventually :)
