That's
my point Steve.
I'm
not in a position to test it myself right now, otherwise I
would.
Just
temporarily make one private and see if the problem goes
away.
I'm
betting that it won't go away, and that there's some other bug in your function
that's making it incapable of working.
I
don't see why it should have to be private, but I think you need to rule it out
first.
I do
know that I can do what you want to do, and the only visible thing, assuming
there are no code errors, is that I have always had my functions' access set to
private.

Darren

Subject: [cfaussie] RE: Accessing internal functions of a CFCSteve, you just call the function. The code you originally posted should absolutely work. I do exactly this every day.You don't need to do anything with cfscript or cfinvoke. It just works.Try using an access="private" although, as I said earlier, I don't see why that should be necessary.Just declare your function, then call your function eg. functionName(arg1)If that doesn't work for you, then you have some other sort of problem.RegardsDarren Tracey--------Original Message-----

Not only can you call another function in a CFC using the standard <CFSCRIPT> syntax - but you can also use CFINVOKE.
You can also <CFINCLUDE> code at the top of a CFC (after your <CFPROPERTY> tags if you are using them) and call that code as well.
You can also write <CFFUNCTION>s inside <CFSCRIPT> tags as well - and call these from within the CFC or using the normal <CFINVOKE> syntax.
