Figured it out......... My CFMX ODBC Server must have been switching itself off.....so every query was failing.

If you are getting that error - and cannot resolve it - then yes, you have to restart your cold fusion server and possibly web server too (if that is separate). It has nothing to do with your Browser - it is saying that it cannot connect to the database through TCP/IP.
