I can offer some suggetions as i have seen it before.

- Currupt File.
        Although when you open the file it looks fine, the file is currupt. Try
copying the content of the file and re-creating the file again.

- Issue with server.
        Sometimes i used to get the error and restarting the server corrected it.
Dont know why it did it on thise occasions

Subject: [cfaussie] CF5 PCode Error

Hi,

While trying to execute a query, the following error message occurs :

PCodeRuntimeContextImp::executeSQLTagCFQuery::endTag

Our Platform is:
CF 5
Server - Win 2000
DB - Oracle 8.04
Drivers - Oracle 8.1.7.8 b

I've looked at some of the Macromedia TechNotes and some forums for
possible causes but they don't fit what we are trying to do.

1. Possible non locking of application / session variables. We're not
using this in the query.
2. Query of a query problem. Not doing this either.
3. Different upper and lower case naming conventions in the query -
eg Select qNames
>From ....
Where qnames ...
This isn't an issue.
4. Different ODBC settings. I suspect this may be the cause. This query
does work in our dev, UAT environments but not in our production
environment which runs against a separate database. I have checked with
our system administrator about any differences in dev/ uat and production
ODBC settings, but he assures me they are all the same and using the same
drivers.
Does anyone have any ideas of any more specific quesions / differences in
the settings I should try to find out or any other possible causes.

This query did run for some time in production, but now seems to be
failing.

Thanks for your help,
Ronan Mac Domhnaill
