Hello I just rang Microsoft in Australia and they said there was no guarantee of the Australian pricing of SQL Server 2000 Developer license dropping even after the US version's pricing will to $50(US) next month. Is it that likely that MS Austraia would not drop their price as well? I asked about just buying it from MS US and they said I wouldn't get support for it from MS Australia.
I was thinking of using SQL Server 2000 as a backend for ColdFusion pages as a result of the price drop. Though I've already downloaded a copy of PostgreSQL.
