Hi all

Im trying to connect to Excel COM and get an exception error. Ived looked at
dcomcnfg at checked security settings and Ive got the latest updater(3) from
Macromedia but still get the error.

"The cause of this exception was that: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException."

I read the following article at Macromedia - Accessing complex COM objects
in ColdFusion MX using Java Stubs
http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/tn18211.htm

Now, because my server has Office XP and CFMX have stubs only for Office 97
Im thinking, will I have to create a java stub for ExcelXP as they
demonstrated? And has anyone done this? I wouldn't mind some feedback before
I give this a go.

Cheers

Fred
