Going from IE for Windows to IE for MAC I can see your frustration, but the problem is IE for Windows not the other way around. I'm not going to get into a holy war about whether W3C standards are more important than IE6's implementation of html & css but in the W3C sense the Windows version are super buggy, the Mac version is pretty good. Anyway they have both seen their last standalone releases. IE for MAC is completely finished and IE for Windows will only be available as part of the OS from now on. There may be some security patches etc... but no more public releases. Time to look at other options.
