http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/security_sandbox.htm That outlines all the ways Flash uses a Sandbox. If you output it as a projector, there is no sandbox, it will be able to access the gateway. (If I remember correctly) You should also be able to configure the Flash Services browser in FMX to pick up CFCs on the production server as well. HTH, and if you have any more questions feel free.
