Hi Darren,
I agree that is scary, but the difference would be that user's on my
network have given permission for me to access the files and only for their own
use. Rather than getting our staff to login to the intranet, we've set it up so
that we can grab their network identity, ie. login name when they log onto the
network. This means that info relevant only to them is only seen
by them as each user's login is unique.
So in essence if I was visiting the intranet home page, the list under
"fave links" is my favourites list. A nicer way of doing it is perhaps for
people to be able to add their own bookmarks to the intranet as a seperate issue
to their browser faves. It's also something I know how to acheive quite easily!!
