Eugene Its actually against the law to trade in Australia in US dollars. What you need to do if you want to do that is get an OS ecom gateway. WorldPay do it, but my experience is that is crap, not very user friendly. They dont even provide a COM object or a way to transact server side with the gateway.
BAsically what they do is this, and my guess it will be the process you will need to take to do it. You have your ecom site hooked up to a US gateway. The US gateway does the transaction and puts it into a holding bank account of theirs, and then periodicaly the funds are transfered as AUD into your nominated australian bank account. steve -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Eugene Gorman Sent: Sunday, 3 August 2003 8:39 PM To: CFAussie Mailing List Subject: [cfaussie] OS Banking and gateways I need some advise on setting up a site for a client. They want to use US Dollars, so they need an overseas bank that will process US$ and a payment gateway to support it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
