We are having a problem with CFMX that we have never experienced before we used CFMX.
When we ship a new version of our web products out, we get issues where some of the changed files that have been sent are not being used. They are instead being drawn from cached or compiled class files somewhere. Some files are being used, while others aren't. We can't see any pattern or reason why some are and some aren't. All files that are shipped are encrypted (I know that doesn't protect them much, but its just how we do it) in a single batch before a set of files are bundled up for shipping, so all file date/time stamps are within a minute or two of each other. All previous files would have had the same treatment, so would have a different earlier uniform date/time. We've deleted the class files from the \CFUSIONMX\WEBROOT\WEB-INF\CFCLASSES\ folder, but this doesn't make any difference. Trusted cache is not turned on. I've tried setting the template cache size to zero. Nothing we do makes CF look at the new file with the sole exception of modifying the file to change its date/time stamp, even though it already has a later date/time stamp that the file its replacing. So we have to modify all the files again, re-encrypt them (so they have a new date/time stamp) and re-install these new files. Why doesn't this work the first time? Can anyone suggest a fix? I'm hoping there's a big 'clear cache' button in CF Administrator in the Redsky release.
