Ah ha! so decomiling the class files (provided it didn't produce errors)
will only give you java source - not the CFML code, yes?

Someone mentioned a while ago a CF server that just ran the Java IL. You
could compile the classes off site then have unlimited deployment. From
memory it was mentioned that because it didn't have a compiler built in the
server was cheap/free but this meant that only one copy of a real CF server
needed to be bought since deployment was "well sorted".

(anyone know what I mean or know more about this?)

Well you can deploy the complied java classes rather than the CF code so if 
there were IP issues or for some reason you didn't want to give the client 
the code you might consider using it.
